In the cantata "Evening", written to the authentic texts of Russian ditties, maintaining a living connection with the folk song, the composer, however, does not quote a single authentic melody, does not limit himself in any way in the choice of expressive means. Butsko's suite attracts, first of all, with warmth and sincerity, the desire to convey these emotions to the listeners.
