The concerto is a one-movement composition in five sections with a cadenza. The manuscript of the piano score has been preserved. The orchestral version was made by Ilya Kononov based on the author's project of the orchestra composition and some notes on the orchestration. The style of the music is not typical for Yuri Butsko, the search for his own style is visible, the character of the texture is closer to Shostakovich.
