In four parts: Prelude, Scherzo, Nocturne, Finale


For a long time it was considered a lost work.

The recording of the premiere was not preserved.


Conceived by the author as the first part of a cycle of three solo works:


  1. Suite for solo trumpet

  2. Partita for solo cello

  3. Prelude, Dithyramb and Postlude for Organ

All three works were originally designated as opus 19
