Author's comment: "The vocal part can be performed by any composition: one soloist (middle male or female voice), two voices (baritone + mezzo-soprano), choir (unison) or an ensemble with two soloists. In this choice, one should be guided only by the general characteristics given above the vocal line - tutti and solo, understood here only in the sense of forte or piano... The entire line of the voice is unison (simple or octave..."
Four verses from an Old Believer printed collection from the early 20th century are separated by postludes executed in the special contrapuntal technique of the “Polyphonic Concerto”.
